About Happiness

There is a wonderful quote by Thich Nhat Hahn, the well known Vietnamese Thiền Buddhist monk.
 
He said, "I think God is on Earth, inside every living being. What we call "the divine" is none other than the energy of awakening, of peace, of understanding, and of love, which is to be found not only in every human being, but in every species on Earth."

I love this! The divine within is what we truly are. Therein we find our inspirations to reach for more joy, more understanding and more creativity. It's what we came to experience.
 
As I've traveled along my spiritual pathway, I've discovered that if I don't dwell on the negative feelings that are normal reactions to human drama and choose something happier to focus on, everything becomes lighter and happier.
 
When peace becomes my friend and companion, I thrive.
 
Here's a quote from Abraham-Hicks, one of my favorite teachers. "If you can hold a thought for 17 seconds it's yours." 
 
So, what do thoughts really have to do with our life experiences?
 
The Universal Law of Attraction  states that our thoughts create our realities. 
 
Therefore, if we hold on to fearful or negative thought energies we will begin to experience intensity and manifestations  that are a vibrational match to the negative thought.
 
On the opposite end, when we hold positive thoughts the experiences that match this higher vibration will also begin to manifest accordingly.
 
Archangel Ariel wants us to embrace that we are all infinitely powerful as creators of what we experience from day to day. She reminds us, "When the mind is quiet the Spirit within leads the way so perfectly!"
